Before I go on I want to thank you for following me I truly appreciate it.

Here is some hair secrets. The things we do to change hair color..we use foils, wax paper and even *Saran wrap* plastic.  It makes sense why we are sometimes called kitchen beauticians..LOL..

The first picture is before, the second is the process and the last picture to the right is the finished look.

I haven’t gotten out of bed yet and here I am blogging.. Awe the addictions.  This WordPress has me in suspense…I’m  getting addicted to checking out my stats.

The salon I work at is old school white white walls ✋with  bright florescent lights…I feel like I’m in a mental hospital. The pictures I take in there don’t do justice on my work. I do the best that I can with my cell phone. Non the less I’m blessed that I love doing what I do. ..I was born with the scissors I’m my hand💖🙆

Today was a good day

Sound like a song:) happiness is making someone smile one hair appointment at a time.

I darkened her base, lightened her bottom, rinsed. Went back to blend the color then topped it off with a hair glosser. ..gave her a quick trim..she’s trying to grow her hair need to take off more than I should. Finished her appt by taking various pictures to show you guys.

Today was a good day

Today was a good day, everyone showed up on time..including me…LOL (jk) I try to be as punctual as possible but life happens sometimes you know. It was a busy flowy day. I didn’t have time to eat all day..and so I drank water and kept snacking on pies all day that my coworker brought in. Now I’m at the gym, trying to burn them calories on the bike as I type.

This is along time friend. I did her ombre hair color..we laughed a lot. I haven’t seen her in ages..its like time never passed. She left happy. I’m happy too but I’m not happy about having to work out..LOL..

Hair care

If your hair color starts to fade into a brassy pumpkin look or it feels crispy dry..I recommended these products.

1) Shimmer lights shampoo. Use it when needed only  to knock out the pumpkin look. ..maybe once a week. Don’t leave it on too long it can make your blond a little has a drying affect so don’t use daily.

2) It’s a 10 hair products are awesome. You can find the shampoo and conditoners are target ..

3) If you have good products at home that works for you stick with it.

4) Don’t rinse out all the conditioner out of your hair, leave a small amount on  the lower parts of your hair👌

The 7 Irrational Behaviors of Black Friday

Center for Advanced Hindsight

Every day of the year, American shoppers act irrationally. On Black Friday, however, shoppers’ irrationality and wildness climb to dangerously high levels. Why does Black Friday lead shoppers to grab and fight, especially when the stakes are often as low as fifty percent off toasters?

Over the last few decades, social scientists have cataloged the many different factors that lead to irrational consumer behavior, and Black Friday touches on nearly that entire list.

Luckily though, if shoppers stay aware of how Black Friday is designed to make them irrational—and if they take breaks, eat snacks, plan ahead, and keep a clear mind—then they can avoid falling victim to the “holiday.”

Here are seven reasons shoppers become so irrational and committed to deals on Black Friday, as well as a few ways you can protect yourself.

Black Friday is like a hazing ritual

Black Friday shoppers are dedicated—they sacrifice sleep…

The most beautiful girl in the world

I’m a big Sade fan..I’ve seen her in concert twice. Her confidence and class is optimim. I believe she is 56 now..she makes aging look beautiful. She doesn’t lip sing. Her music is not trashy. Just a little hip movement gets the crowds insane. He music has gotten me through some dark times. I can listen to her at work all day. I wish we had a CD player at work so I can play her on this busy Saturday.. But noooo I have to listen to the ho ho ho holiday music for the a whole entire month ..hehe..

Now she is one celebrity who’s hair I want to do. I just want to have her sit on the floor and brush her hair while I’m sitting on a sofa drinking wine. I want to ask her how did she come about writing her songs…I can tell they are personal…I want to know the story behind each song….I want to tell her that her songs were my stories..

I’m a big dreamer💝

Rant- mental illness

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed wanted  to rant  on my blog about my crazy up bringing. Last night I ran into a ex coworker’s Instagram. She became what I always thought she would. She opened a hair studio in Beverly Hills enjoying the life of the rich and famous doing celebrities’ hair and even  teaching classes. I’m soooo proud of her. She paved the way for me when we both worked at the first salon I worked at when I l first got out beauty college.

People say don’t talk about the past hide your emotions, think positive.. Blah blah blah. It is what it is. I am human I have feelings and I need to vent. Drinking a 40 ounce doesnt help, therapy is too dang expensive and venting to my clients is no longer an option.

I could of gone and succeeded much further had I had a normal mother. But no I had the stresses of her coming into the hair salon making scenes, acting weird, and even staying up with her till 4am in the morning  waiting for the *white jacket* people to come pick her up. She showed at one of the last salons I worked at …(Thank God everyone had gone home already)..she had a blank stare in her face ..”I asked mom what are you doing here. Next thing I know she’s tearing up the shop throwing and breaking stuff. I don’t remember all the details but I remember calling hospitals to come pick her up.. It took what seem forever. They finally came. Seeing your mother being taken away in a straight jacket is more than I can bare. I got like 4 hours of sleep and came back to work smiling and entertaining clients like nothing ever happened.  My mother is schizophrenic and bipolar. Mental illness was hush hush then. Now its the talk of the town. I wish I had support then like there is now. Oh well.

I love my mother ..the only ones allowed to say anything about my mom are my sibblings and I. You remember as a kid what we use to say “Don’t talk about my momma!! ..LOL;)

Anyhoo back to hair. I know how to press and curl. I don’t do as much because it tore up my wrist. Holding the heavy pressing combs and Marcel irons took a toll on me. Now I do more color jobs.

I may not do famous celebrities but at least my clients feel like stars when they leave my chair👌💖

Okay gotta go rinse my client’s hair color… Thanks for letting vent #wordpress..I love sooo you mush!!💖😆

By the time

By the time you feel confident in your own skin and start putting your goals into motion your so worn out and tired. I do hair, was never really into makeup until I saw the amazing transformations on Instagram. I wish I could of gone into makeup when I had fresh skin, no experience lines, …I have a few things in my bucket list..write my *Tales of the Chair* book, do more make up makeovers on people, race car driver, become a cheff, and a photographer. The pictures you see of my hair work or of me are taken on my cell phone. No professional camaras.

The only thing I want to do on my days off is lay in bed. My mind is wiser and  my body says just chill…LOL…

I took this the other day..looks like a simple picture huh….nope! It took me like 20 minutes to curl my hair, like 45 min on my makeup and forever to  strike the right pose, who has time for alI that ..hehe I feel like a turtle. I will reach half of my goals or my name isn’t Evy… For now it’s sleepy time💪👍💞

Purple love

Happiness is waking up to selfies from my clients. I did this purple job last week Friday. It took two sessions to do because the hair needed to be really blond before I colored it purple.

She is a clothing designer. She post her pictures on Instagram.. She happened to find my work through one of my #hashtags. We support and encourage each other she is blowing up fast thanks to social media. If they had this years ago I would of been doing a princess’s hair somewhere in Dubai💕 I got a late start on this social media thing, but its okay. It’s good enough for me right now. I want to concentrate on my clients and let my work speak for itself. I can’t please everyone all I can do is take one client at time and touch their lives for the better👍💗

Crispy ends

If you have crispy ends that smack crackle and pop when you comb your hair come in for a trim or toner. Whenever you bleach your hair its inevitable that its going to dry somewhat. It doesn’t mean that you cannot go blond. It all depends on the texture and dryness of your hair. This is Amie..she came in for a color retouch. She has the ombre color trend. Her hair looks really dry because I brushed it out so I could be able to apply the hair color. If she were to deep condition her hair once a week to treat it will look so much better. Some people just don’t have the time to do their hair and they just leave it at that. But that is what I’m here transform and make your hair look nice for your holiday parties👍

Today I did a color retouch on her and toned her hair on the ends for about 10 min. The color will fade but it won’t turn brassy. A good color treated shampoo helps a long with *It’s a Ten* hair products. I toned it because its the fall and it’s time to make the hair colors darker until the spring.

Nothing excited happened was a good paced day. I got a lot more accomplished since I gave myself a Facebook break.

I love clientele. I’m so thankful to them. If it wasn’t for my clients I would not be blogging… Xoxo
